The problem with LLM systems is that it wasn’t built to seek authentic knowledge or the objective truth, but to pump out summarizations—quick and dirty. This provides users with the pleasure, in the short term, of finding quick answers but degrades their intellectual capacity in the long run.

Empathy helps the system understand the user’s aspirations better, and unlike LLM-based systems, ai is not built to spew quick summarizations. Instead, it establishes a basis for the problem to be examined and seeks to identify the right strategic question to pursue.

If things don’t consistently line up in an argument, it’s those inconsistencies revealing deficiencies in the argument—rigorous testing of consistency tests your thinking, logic and reasoning. Inconsistency, however, reveals fundamental problems and conflicts in thinking. The truth always exists, but it takes the scientific process to find it.

Internal contradictions in thinking are signs that your thinking needs to be broken down into mental parts; if not, inconsistencies have a way of muddying the waters so you can’t see clearly. It disables your ability to think logically and act decisively, which inhibits success.

By applying the six steps, you become a better decision maker. And the search for consistency through the applied intelligence process is useful in any domain.
